Alcohol&Me is designed to help you understand more about alcohol and how it affects your body and mind so you can make informed choices if and when you choose to drink. In the same way your best friend always has your back, we want to help you manage your drinking so you can stay safe and sociable when you are out and about socialising.

Alcohol&Me draws on expert information and research from New Zealand and around the world which is peer reviewed reguarly to keep it best in class. It is intended for educational purposes only and for people 18 years+. It is a general guide based on the average adult so please consult a medical professional if you want more information on the health implications of drinking as specific to you. Some people (for example, pregnant women) shouldn’t drink at all and there are serious risks associated with heavy consumption in particular so please take the time to educate yourself so you can make the decisions that are right for you when it comes to alcohol. We are not collecting your answers to any of the questions so make the most of this opportunity to pick up some practical tips and advice that can help you to make the good times last longer. We are pretty sure you will be surprised by what you learn!

Alcohol&Me Programme Manager

Jude Walter is a respected communications specialist and facilitator with a successful career in strategic communications, marketing, adult education, and training.

She has spent 25 years working at the frontline, developing and managing several high-profile reputation, wellbeing and social change projects including the last 13 years as the Programme Manager for Alcohol&Me which focuses on supporting Kiwis to make smarter choices about drinking alcohol.

Jude has been involved with the programme since its inception in 2012 during which time, Alcohol&Me has helped over 900,000 New Zealanders to make smarter drinking choices.

She has facilitated over 180 Alcohol&Me workshops in workplaces around New Zealand and is highly regarded as an energetic, engaging presenter.
